The Campaign for St. Helen Catholic School
A place where faith grows, truth shines, and character is built for life.
“We must lead with courage – and prepare children not just to succeed, but to stand firm in who they are.”
Fr. Matthew DeGance
A Crisis of Culture.
A Call to Lead.
Across America, education is shifting. Screens replace books. Virtue is blurred. Truth is contested. The real crisis facing our children isn’t just academic decline – it’s a loss of purpose, identity, and faith.
At St. Helen, the opposite is true. Every lesson begins with love. Every day is grounded in faith. And every child is seen as an eternal soul – not just a student.
With a growing parish, waitlists at nearly every grade level, and families searching for meaning, the time to act is now.
This campaign is about preparing the Church of tomorrow by forming children today with truth, courage, and clarity.
The Numbers Tell the Story
Growth of those seeking Catholic school education
2.8% growth in Florida over 5 years
6% growth in the Diocese of Palm Beach
The Story Is Simple
By 2028, nearly 3,000 additional children are expected to live in Indian River County. As the largest faith community, Catholics have both an opportunity and responsibility to ensure there is adequate space to welcome the next generation.
Families are seeking Catholic education at growing rates, but enrollment has outpaced capacity.
Families are ready. Space is not. The need is now.
“What makes St. Helen Catholic School so special is its foundation in faith, virtue, and community. From VPK through eighth grade, students grow together, form lasting relationships, and learn by example – surrounded by mentors and role models who lead with faith. The school also invites parents into this formation, offering meaningful opportunities to serve and live out the values of our Catholic faith as a family.”

Building with Light
For more than 85 years, St. Helen Catholic School has formed children in faith, virtue, and excellence. Now, we’re building a campus that reflects the strength of that mission – designed to serve up to 450 students and expand the light that already shines so brightly.
“St. Helen strengthened the moral and ethical foundation that shaped my family. Knowing these values will reach even more students through the new school gives me confidence that our children will continue to lead our community with integrity.”
